Andi Mona and I got out for a nice walk today. I think we all really enjoyed it. We were all a little wet and muddy when we got home. Bryan is now having car problems too. They are going to work on putting in a new transmission Friday and maybe fix his steering that is all out of wack. My car issues are going to the Better Business Bureau and possibly arbitration. I’m not sure what all will happen with that but I hope Hyundai just buys my car back so I don’t have to deal with them anymore ever again. Bryan passed the final for his first class. He only has 6 more to go and his clinicals and boards. Hopefully he will finally be done this year with school. The finalization is March 5. Yeah!! What a long process. I’m glad its almost done. She’s been ours since she was a day old though. Last night Andi screamed and cried most the night. I was so frustrated with her. So, of course, then I felt guilty all day because I know she’s just a little baby who can’t tell me what’s wrong and why she’s crying. Tonight was a good night and she barely cried at all so I am much happier. Andi has been eating a lot of baby food. She has a hard time getting used to new foods. It took her a couple weeks to like applesause and carrots. She still doesn’t like beans or sweet potatoes. Tommorrow I’m going to try her with peas. She does like little pieces of bread, pancakes, those little puffs things and pickles. So far shes not too good with picking them up and putting them in her mouth. Her bottem teeth have to be coming in pretty soon. I can see them through her gums but they still haven’t broke skin. She rolls across the room now if she feels like it. She sits up pretty well but still tips over a lot too. She shakes her head back and forth “no” now and shakes her whole body like a crazy person. I taught her that one. She says mom, but there is no meaning behind it yet. She likes to yank on my hair so I’ll probably be getting it chopped when I get a chance. This weekend is guys weekend but also Valentines Day too. Bryan said he wants to spend Valentine’s Day with his two girls. Awe. I think he will be going up to the cottage later Saturday evening. All guys are invited up there to play cards drink and go snowmobiling and whatever other things they do that I don’t hear about. Amy should be having Emma Em any day now. I don’t know whats taking her so long to come out. She was supposed to be born early and at the rate she’s going she going to be born late. I did my taxes and it said I’m getting everything back from federal. I think I did something wrong but I guess we’ll see. If not, Bryan and I will have a pretty nice return. I’ll have to go shopping. I’m running out of things to buy though. Andi’s got a wardrobe for the next year already and Bryan just ruins everything I buy the guy so it’s hard to justify buying him clothes and he already doesn’t have room for anymore tools or snowmobiles. Don’t you just love Andi’s hair in this picture. Well, gotta run. Have a good night all.
Andi’s hair is so cute there! She is starting to look so much older. It sounds like she’s doing a lot more as well (rolling, sitting up, eating solids, etc!). Each stage they go through it so much fun. I’m so happy that everything (with the adoption) is going to be officially finalized soon. I hope that you have a nice week. =)
I hope you don’t have to pay anything back on your Federal, and you did it all correctly. It’s always great to get a lot of money back.
Congratulations to Andi for her first word
Congrtulations to Brian for passinghis first test. Good luck to him on the following ones.
Like Andi, Myra still has trouble feedin gherself some things. She’ll chew on her teething biscuits, but won’t feed herself her little puffs. SHe tried once today, but doesn’t quite get the concept of letting it go once she has it to her mouth. So when she pulls her hand back away from her mouth, the puff comes back with it. It’s cute though
I think Myra will be alte talker, since I’m pretty quiet when it’s just the two of us at home, during the day. I try to talk to her a lot, but then I get really quiet for a long time while she plays. It just don’t have a habit of having a onesided conversation all day. I feel like I’m talking to myself. But I’m working on it. I think I’m getting better with talking to her more.
That’s great that Andi can say, “Mom,” even though she doesn’t know the meaning of the word yet. Compaired to Myra, she’s pretty advanced in that area
I wouldn’t be suprised if she gets her teeth in within a couple of days from now, if not tomorrow, since you can see them already. Their little teeth are so cute
It is nice that Andi’s first word is “Mom.” I can’t wait to hear her talk.
It is hard when they have a long night of crying. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do but let them cry. It is frustrating but we’ve all been through it.
Yay to Bryan for passing his class. Hopefully he can finish up this year. I’m sure he will be glad to be finished w/ school.
I’m looking forward to warmer weather so that we can go outside. Sawyer was outside last weekend with Pete . . . I stayed in the house and cleaned.
