It’s an exciting day for the books.  Obama’s inauguration day.  I didn’t even get to see it because I was working and tried to catch a re-run of it tonight but all they had was the inauguration ball.  I’m sure I can find it on the internet somewhere.  Everything is going really well for us.  We survived the 40 below days.  Yesterday was our last meeting with our social worker and we should be getting papers in a week for Andi’s finalization court date.  Yeah!!  It’s almost here.  Bryan has left for work for the evening.  He seems to like the prison.  Bryan will be switching to 10 hour shifts next week.  My job is going fine as usual.  We got an email that we may not be getting our 2% cost of living raise so this year our health insurance cost will go up as usual and my pay rate will not.  It’s pretty depressing but at least I have a job and insurance so I can be thankful for that.   Andi is cute as ever.  She’s been rolling over a lot lately.  Still teething and still no teeth.  She slept until 10 a.m. this morning for Bryan.  Sleep seems to take precidence over food for her.  Andi has been eating her baby food well.  She’s been eating carrots applesauce and rice cereal so far and I plan to start her on another veggie shortly.  Andi was 6 months old on Saturday.  I can’t believe how fast they grow.  I’m sure I’ve probably written that in every blog so far.  Andi’s favorite toys are her exersaucer and her little singing animals.  She has been doing a lot of hair pulling so I will be getting a hair cut very shortly.  Not a lot of exciting news at the moment.

I can’t believe she is 6 months already. I’m glad to hear things are going so well with Andi. That’s great that both of your jobs are going well. Hopefully they make it up to you guys next year. Hope to see you all soon. Maybe I’ll get to see you guys up here more often since Katie is moving here?!

I love the pic of Andi . . . she looks so much older than usual. Maybe it is the clip in her hair.

I’m really excited for the finalization of the adoption. Not too much longer and it will be official.

I didn’t get as large of a raise as usual this year, either. I think it is because of the economy. I hope I still get a good bonus, though. We are counting on the money to help pay for delivery expenses.

Awww…that is such a cute picture. Can she say Auntie Katie Yet? I can’t wait to see her and Sawyer. I can’t believe she is 6 months already. I am so excited that it will be official. She has always been yours. There was no doubt. She is and always was meant to be your little girl. Let me know the date of the hearing. I would love to be there if I’m not working.

I’m glad to hear that everything is working out so nicely with Andi and that your and Bryan’s jobs are going well (except about the cost of living raise). Andi does look so much older in that particular picture. She is such a cutie!
I’m contemplating getting my hair cut shorter again too because Joshua holds onto it like he’s climbing a rope sometimes! He’s even learned that when he wants to snuggle into my neck really close he can hold onto my hair tight and keep me where he wants me to be. It’s cute but it hurts! =) I hope you have a nice weekend.

I thought the adoption was already completely finalized. There’s more to it than I thought, but I’m sure it will all go well :)
Her hair looks lighter than previous pictures I’ve seen of her. I wonder what color it will be when she’s even older yet :)
